With 35 years of experience, Luanne’s career has spanned surgery to oncology, culminating in her renowned expertise in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She has developed a signature “Soft & Subtle” style for facial rejuvenation, leveraging fillers, neuromodulators, threads, biostimulators, PRP, lasers, micro-needling, and Ulthera.
Known for “Lips by Luanne,” she has honed her injection techniques, earning a training position with Prollenium. Co-founding the Coastal Aesthetic Training Center with Dr. Collins has enabled her to continue her passion for learning and teaching.

Meet Dr. Collins: A Leading Plastic Surgeon with an Impressive Background. Graduating cum laude from Medical school and ranking 10th in her class of over 200 students, Dr. Collins went on to complete her general surgery residency at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Following board certification in general surgery, she pursued her plastic surgery residency at Emory University, one of the nation’s premier programs.
During her residency, Dr. Collins trained under renowned plastic surgeons, refining her skills. She then completed a fellowship in breast reconstruction and body contouring, led by Dr. John McCraw, a distinguished figure in plastic surgery. Dr. Collins’s exceptional research in body contouring and breast reconstruction earned her the prestigious Lee Harvey Hendricks Prize.
Dr. Collins is a Sciton-certified laser expert and physician trainer, a Platinum-level Allergan provider, and a recognized Top Doctor in New Beauty. She has authored two textbook chapters, trains doctors in Allergan injectables, and teaches cosmetic surgery to residents at Yale. Voted one of the Best Plastic Surgeons in New Haven in 2023, and one of the Top Doctors in 2023 and 2024, Dr. Collins is dedicated to excellence in plastic surgery.
Leah Bueneman – PA-C
Meet Leah Bueneman, a Nationally Board-Certified Physician Assistant with four years of experience in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. Leah earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. She trained under top plastic surgeons, gaining extensive expertise in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments for facial and body rejuvenation.
Currently working with Dr. Beth Collins, MD, Leah serves as a surgical assistant in the operating room and provides non-surgical aesthetic treatments in the office. She specializes in advanced injectable techniques, prioritizing patient safety and natural-looking results. With a background in facial anatomy from surgical experience and advanced training in facial anatomy and ultrasound technology, Leah offers unique insights into patient care.
