Student Curriculum

Classroom Instruction

At CATI, our instructors share decades of experience with students, offering ample one-on-one time and valuable reference materials. Our comprehensive training ensures each student’s success as an aesthetic injector. By the end of our program, students will:

  • Master the rheology of hyaluronic acid
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy
  • Understand the anatomy of facial aging

Cadaver Anatomy Instruction

CATI offers a comprehensive workshop that delves deep into the anatomical structure of the face, ensuring students gain a thorough understanding of injectable techniques. This workshop is open to all students, including those without malpractice insurance.

By the end of our cadaver instruction, students will:

  • Identify muscles causing creases and lines on the face
  • Understand the depth and location of blood vessels and nerves in facial danger zones
  • Practice injecting colored filler to visualize dissection planes

Live Model Training

CATI offers hands-on experience for students, focusing on injection techniques and achieving optimal patient results using live models.

By the end of our live model training, students will be able to:

  • Evaluate patients and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct thorough consultations
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans

Questions

Do I need malpractice insurance?

To partake in our live model tutorials, you will need proof of malpractice insurance. If you do not yet have malpractice insurance, you can still participate in the cadaver class.

Can I come from out of state?

Yes, but you may not be able to participate in the hands-on live model unless your malpractice insurance covers you for the State of Connecticut.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase. Contact us and we will process your refund.

How much does it cost?

A full weekend, including the cadaver tutorial, the live model tutorial, classroom instruction, credentials for video review and reference materials costs $4800. Financing is available.

Do you provide video tutorials?

Playback from our sessions will be available a few days after the conclusion of the class for those with credentials given during the class.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, you can. We use Patientfi for our financing options. Please select Beth Collins M.D under the “provider” selection.
