Basic Injection Course
Our basic, foundational bootcamp course focuses on educating new injectors. Didactic sessions focus on neuromodulators (Botox) mechanism of action, dosing and facial assessment. Injection techniques and complication management complete the injection course curriculum.
The hyaluronic acid filler component focuses on understanding and assessing the signs of facial aging. Instructors will demontrate Injection techniques with cannula and needle. Rheology and filler selection are a focus of instruction which allows our students the ability to create and implement a treatment plan.
The cadaver portion of instruction culminates our students anatomy education by allowing the students to visualize tissue depth, facial muscle orientation and vascular anatomy. Students are able to inject the cadaver and dissect tissue plans for a full understanding of what and how they are injecting.
Areas of study and injection for neuro-modulators include the Glabella, forehead and crows feet. Filler study and treatment areas include midface, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. With small class sizes and low student to teacher ratios our students are able to utilize their new skills on multiple models with a variety of injection techniques. Students are encouraged to keep injecting upon completion of the injection course or attend our Refresher Injection course to keep their skill set sharp.
This course is the best way to start for any new injector. We offer a version of this course for those injectors who have taken our foundation course before but need more hands on time before they are ready to do the advanced treatments and/or take on clients of their own. Please check out our Refresher Injection Course if you already have some experience but need more.
